What&#8217;s up next?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Due to the growth of our company, we are entering some areas that are still uncharted territory for us. Questions like &#8220;How should we respond to a fire? How can we prevent workplace accidents? And how can we ensure that our employees work under ergonomic conditions?&#8221; are playing an increasingly crucial role.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Did you know&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An employer with at least 1 employee on the payroll is obligated to have an internal prevention advisor. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With fewer than 20 employees, the employer may act as the prevention advisor. Otherwise, they must appoint a non-managerial employee as the prevention advisor. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This person must have basic knowledge of prevention and well-being at work, demonstrated by completing a level 3 prevention advisor course. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The prevention advisor must also undergo regular training (at least once a year) to stay informed about developments in the field. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Tasks of the prevention advisor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The well-being law (Codex on Well-being at Work) provides a legal framework for the prevention advisor. The well-being law outlines the working conditions that must be respected. According to the well-being law, well-being revolves around:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workplace safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protection of employees&#8217; health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ergonomics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occupational hygiene<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beautification of workplaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Psychosocial aspects in and around the workplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The prevention advisor assists the employer in implementing measures related to well-being and has an advisory role. From now on, our consultant Dorien will take on the role of prevention advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;When I started at Farma Consulting &amp; Partners, I had already obtained my certification for level 3 prevention advisor. When we reached the limit of 20 employees, I was asked if I was willing to take on the role of internal prevention advisor. I didn&#8217;t hesitate for a moment, and I am eager to be the driving force behind safety and prevention.
